Recently there have been a rash of television shows dedicated to the weird and wild world of storage unit auctions. There is apparently a whole lot of people who take the acquisition of abandoned storage units to be very serious business and regularly show up at these auctions in hopes of finding merchandise that can be easily sold for steep profits. I have learned a number of things about the nature of not just storage unit auctions but also about the valuation of a wide range of different products from these programs, which appear on at least three separate cable networks.
